Came here to kill some time in between appointments. Being a native Cedarapidian, I've never visited City Park. On the coldest day of the year I decided to park my car and watch the birds ----.

Hey, hey City Park! This riverfront beaut offers a lot, just a short drive from the downtown. There are playgrounds (the new one in lower city park is legit), shelters, historical cabins, paved.

One of Iowa City's signature parks, new investments in the last few years have really improved this riverside gem. At more than 100 acres, it's massive and divided into Upper and Lower City Park.

I went to City Park after work to take a walk because it was a nice day. City Park is a very big park and was one of the first parks made in Iowa City. There are both upper and lower parts to City.

This park is a delight and has served many a purpose over the past 6 years! It's an amazing spot with a huge array of things to do from softball fields, to an open-air performance area, a couple.
